Yesterday i got an email from my Work experience teacher saying that there was a job that pays 10 dollars and here it is "$10 an hour. You can work at home. You need to copy data OR print it and retype it and place the information into another site (check Rentsline.com and amsrentsline.com websites). The employer thinks it will take 4-6 mins for each entry to be transferred to the new site. He is expecting that you can do 10 files an hour. He wants to meet with the potential employee (near Granville Island) tomorrow if possible as he is leaving town Friday at 3 pm and won't be back until the following Friday. You can work over the holidays and make some money.
If you are interested, e-mail me back and see me at recess." and because of the great pay and the ability to work at home 20 people showed up and there were ways to choose the 2 ppl she'll recommend and stuff and she choose the who sent her the email first... which ticked me off because some students (like me) who take the bus or live far need to take a longer time to go home and check her email and also on that day i was working on my english project (which i did even though i didn't have to help *getting more angry*) and those that need to take the us are probably less fortunate and need a job like that so here's the letter she replied to us "I had a huge response for the job that I advertised yesterday, probably because it allowed a student to work from home and the pay was good. Unfortunately, I could only recommend two students at this time, therefore, I listened carefully to suggestions as to how I could choose 2 students out of all the responses. I read my e-mail and it asked for two things: e-mail me back and see me at recess. Therefore, I selected the first two students who e-mailed me and showed up at recess. Better luck with the next job opportunity." sometimes i think maybe i should have told her about it but how else could she choose b/t us?
